ALEDA works with a diverse range of clients: from scale-ups and family businesses to large corporations, from venture capitalists to private equity investors. The setup is highly flexible and tailored to the individual project and the client's requirements – it can include targeted support with a valuation issue, guidance throughout the entire M&A process, or even taking on an interim management mandate.

1. Company valuation

  • Valuation of a medium-sized family business under various scenarios. The methods included a discounted cash flow (DCF) valuation as well as trading and transaction multiples.

  • Valuation of a scale-up as a basis for acquiring additional growth capital.

2. M&A and Strategy

  • Supporting the sales process of a B2B software company for a VC investor – from preparing the documents to identifying and approaching potential buyers to providing negotiation support.

  • Advising a European private equity fund on the buy-side during the sale process of a large Austrian company. ALEDA contributed its strong network of contacts with companies and owners, as well as in-depth market knowledge and an understanding of potential political interests.

  • Advising a listed company on the development of its segment strategy.

3. Finance Support

  • Development of a share-based compensation program to optimally incentivize the new CEO of an owner-managed company.

  • Advising a start-up on optimizing its finance function, resulting in improved planning, targeted reporting and more efficient processes.

4. Interim Management

Marion, Managing Director of ALEDA, will take over the management of the Valuation Services team of a scale-up for a period of 15 months.

  • Supporting a VC fund in relocating a company to the USA, including serving as a member of the supervisory board of the Austrian holding company.

  • Advising the founders of www.durchblicker.at on the establishment of the predecessor company and establishing contact with the seed investor. Meanwhile, Alexander, Managing Director of ALEDA, served on the supervisory board of the predecessor company, yousure AG.

  • Advisor to New Mobility Enterprise from 2019 to 2024, focusing on strategic issues and M&A.
